Since 2011, MOWA has partnered with The Home Depot Foundation to provide a home repair program specifically for veterans. Many local veterans have faced compounding challenges over the past year: increasing property taxes, rising materials and construction costs, and increased isolation. Funding from The Home Depot has helped us tackle the housing affordability challenge which plagues senior veterans.
In the thick of the COVID-19 shutdown, the Atlanta Braves provided our veteran meal recipients with 200 meals per week.
